I worked with the Limey team as a contract developer, focusing on building powerful creator-centric features that make the platform faster, more flexible, and more useful for non-technical users.
Key contributions include:
- Buy Me a Coffee integration: built the full flow connecting creator sites with Stripe to accept small payments or gifts from supporters, complete with block configuration and real-time publishing.
- Free Tools ecosystem: developed multiple free micro-utilities that now drive user engagement and SEO traffic, including Alt-Text Generators for Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and Facebook; UTM Builder; Random Letter and Color Generators; and Social Bio Generators.
- Custom Code Block: implemented a flexible code-injection feature that allows creators to embed HTML or scripts directly inside their Limey sites — expanding the builder’s customization power.
- Optimization & usability: improved publishing speed, block handling, and user flows across the builder experience to make launching a one-page site simple and fast.
These features helped Limey grow into a creator-first platform with thousands of active users and strong community feedback on Product Hunt and Trustpilot.
This project deepened my experience in SaaS development, user-centric design, and delivering modular tools that scale gracefully with product growth.
